Besides being a rapper who adds a hip hop edge to Rap, Urhobo native Kerry Kartoon Wayne ( Omo-ovie Diamonds OGBODU) prides himself on being an expert in Rapping and writing. When his family moved back to the country in the 90's his mother enrolled him in the Flock of Christ High school, an institution and academy where he got his chance to use his skill of words in the art forum of the academy. As a child growing up he joined many impromptu street corner singing groups which led to the formulation of the group 80 streets and Esteem family.. A duo where he always functioned as the writer of their songs and only spear headed the rap verses and in no distant time the group was already getting local attention in his state of origin which got him performing alongside with the sensational zaro Kome crooner Adaz and iffy. Destiny called and all crew members went their different ways in and outside the continent, but that didn't stop his motivations of carrying on with his career in the music industry. In 2010 he recorded his first single "Money Anthem"which got instant airplay in Media Stations and even went on doing performances with diverse artiste in the hip hop industry. That same year he recorded his 2nd single " Away From Home" which was a sensational biographic song that caught the attention of silverbird galleria FCT.
Due to his writing ability which he developed from making his art in music, he went further to publish several articles and journals which eventually got him into writing proper books. In 2011 he wrote his first book "What Must I do Before SSCE", after which he left for Cyprus to further his studies in Political Science and International Relations.
As the popular saying there are many sides of a square, Kerry KaRtoon refused to let music and writing be his only embodiment of strength and capacity, he vehemently pushed himself towards independence by entering into the labour field force in the TRNC where he worked his way up from the day to day struggle in street corners and pubs to becoming the First trained Gaminator Attendant in the Black history of the TRNC, as fate would have it, he was singled out due to grace and consistency to becoming also the first International Marketing Representative in the only seven star Premium Ports and Casino in the TRNC . as if there are still many sides to his Pyramids of ascension he got Picked out from His function and was sent for a croupier Training in the Same Industry where he currently functions as a Dealer presently in the Cratos Premium even while in school furthering his studies. in like manner, his ascension from the bottom to his considerable status nourished the publication of his soon to be released writing a book titled " The Historic AFRICAN" a memoir where he fills the need for hope in his generation and the ones after him.
